I agree, I would love some sort of flair next to your user name on ELH and maybe something on your  nametag for recognition if you attend Articuland.

The idea of a badge or some sort of LinkedIn credential is also interesting to me.

    I think the badges on your profile are already quite cute and show some recognition. There are some real superstars on here who regularly share their work and also share how to do it - which have been the most valuable things for my development. How about giving away something more concrete like Articuland passes? (Sadly no good to me as UK based). Another one I like is early use of updates and extra credits (the current Ai avatar credits are very restrictive).
    I do love what you already do with the forums, and there's a real sense of community. Everyone involved does a great job.
