Bonjour Heroes.

When I read “interactive timeline,” my first idea was to animate a string with clothespins on it sliding from right to left and left to right. The question was: what should I hang on this clothesline? I invite you to explore my second idea.

Technically, it’s more of a carousel than a timeline, but the carousel (since it doesn’t exist natively in SL) is quite handy and useful to have in your personal toolbox. And it’s not very difficult to create.

Note: I used the AI function “animate an avatar” with a personal avatar on the first screen. The result isn’t bad, but the results are a bit inconsistent. In another version, the arms were slightly animated, but not here. ??? Also, I tried it once with a non-human avatar… and the Matrix crashed.

I really love this. It is very charming. The combination of "cut out" character with visual briefs, text, and audio is great. Your carousel idea is genius, and I plan to adapt this concept to a current project. Thank you for sharing!
