The tools changed. The mission did not.

For my latest eLearning challenge, I created an interactive timeline exploring the instructional designer's evolution, from multimedia development to AI-enabled learning systems.

Explore five eras from 2000–2026, with the tools, workflows, and shifting responsibilities that shaped each.

I also built in keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, screen reader announcements, reduced-motion support, and optional sound.

Building it prompted a question: As our tools become more powerful, how do we keep helping people learn, perform, and adapt at the center of our work?

Which era did you start in, and what skill has stayed valuable throughout your career?
