Variable Daugnut Ring

Hi,

I have created a daughnut ring that shows percentage depending on the number you insert in the input box. Also I have added a bar that displays the same percentage.

Additionally, in the next slide you can create your own daughnut ring of fixed percentage by editing the number in javascript.

Hope it helps someone out there.

Thanks for sharing this, Rash. As a maths teacher I really like the pairing of the ring and the bar showing the same percentage, because learners get to see one value in two forms, and that comparison is what makes percentages click. The input box version is the one I would use in class, since typing a number in and watching the ring fill makes the idea feel concrete rather than abstract. One small suggestion from the classroom side: if the input ever goes above 100, it is worth deciding what the ring should do, since pupils will definitely try it.
