In Public Beta: Skip-ahead Quizzes
Hi everyone! Our Labs experiment keeps evolving. We've gotten lots of requests to let learners choose how to proceed after successfully passing a quiz. So now, learners are presented with a button to skip ahead or they can navigate to the next lesson as usual. What do you think of this new option? We’d love to get your feedback via the survey.
I am genuinely excited to test this new feature! It is a thoughtful addition that respects the time of experienced users by allowing them to quickly validate their knowledge. This change is a significant win for learner autonomy and enhances the overall professionalism of the experience.
To make this feature truly inclusive for everyone, regardless of their experience level, I would love to see an option to add a Continue to Lesson option right below the Start Quiz option on the course instructions page.
It's important to acknowledge that inexperienced learners may feel a bit discouraged. By offering the choice between Start Quiz and Continue to Lesson, we empower learners to take control of their own learning journey. This approach allows more experienced users to skip ahead while giving beginners the opportunity to engage directly with the material, thus sparing them the frustration of failing a pre-test.
This simple addition would make the tool adaptable for users at all levels. Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts—this direction for Rise is fantastic!
I love this suggestion!
