This feature is fantastic. I can imagine that for learners, it is much more engaging to see in an e-learning than a photo of an avatar.
Right now, I am working on an e-learning in Storyline and the first video works perfectly. However, when I tried to create the second (and third, and fourth, etc.) video, things went wrong. While generating the voice-over with TTS, the audio freezes after five words. When I click the "play" button again, the voice-over resumes but freezes again after a few words.
Even after rendering the complete video, this problem persists.
I have tried several scenarios, but the issue remains.

Great to hear that you've been exploring AI Avatars in Storyline.

I'm sorry that your Voiceovers are not playing back as expected.  I'm happy to help troubleshoot and have some follow-up questions to start:

  • Does the freezing occur across all characters and voices, or just specific ones?
  • Are you working with locally-stored .story files? Authoring directly from a network drive can introduce latency and unexpected behavior such as this.
  • Have you tried a repair of your Storyline installation to see if that improves the issue?
