New in Labs: Connected Packages
Hi DonielleB, Storyline isn't in the plans yet, but could you tell me more about hosting your Storyline course inside Articulate would be helpful?
catganim I tend to build more courses in Storyline than Rise. Currently, we use Reach 360 to deploy, and it's been wonderful having the ability to make small adjustments without having to download, upload and replace SCORM files. In the near future, we will be moving to another LMS and I am not looking forward to going back to the old process of downloading SCORM files. It would make things so much easier if there was a connected packages that allowed me to continue pushing minor updates as needed.

DonielleB Thanks so much for taking the time to share the additional context.

Maybe you could include your Storyline course inside a RISE course using an interactive block, and then publish everything as a connected package. You will probably need to manually update the interactive block in RISE after publishing the new Storyline module.

Matthieu_W and MarkNolker If either of you try this via Rise, I'd be interested to hear how it goes.

I tried it with Rise and my Cornerstone LMS and it worked perfectly

Storyline implementation of connected packages would be a game changer for my organization. We have built a micro LMS because our LMS struggles with updates to SCORM packages. We use Storyline for development because it was around before Rise and we have a lot of training objectives that have already been created and need to be maintained as policy and procedure change. BTW - this is a super cool feature!
