The Frazzled Fork: What I Learned Building a Restaurant Meltdown Simulator
Hi, this was fun. I really like the aesthetic and the story.
Could you give us a little more detail on how you generated the character portraits? And any other tools you may not have mentioned in your brief.
I really appreciate it. I like keeping up with new tools and keeping my "tech stack" current 😊

Thank you so much, this really made my day! I had way too much fun turning Table 7 into a real character.
For the portraits: I used Articulate's AI Avatar tool, the same one I used for Deb and Sal's videos. Most people don't realize the feature also lets you download a still image alongside the video, so I generated each character there and used that image for the portraits instead of building a separate art pipeline.
As for the rest of the stack, it's honestly pretty lean: Rise 360 as the base course, Code Blocks for all the custom interactivity (the floor view, decision screens, scorecard), Articulate AI Avatar for the video and portraits, and Claude as my co-creative partner for the code, the CSS, and the scripts. Nothing fancy hiding behind the curtain, just those working together.
