NEW IN RISE 360: Templates
Feb 04, 2020
It’s already easy to build fully responsive courses quickly in Rise 360. And now, we’ve added another time-saving way to create engaging courses for every learner: templates.
The templates cover a range of topics from information security to leadership development, and more. Choose the template you want and then swap out placeholder text and media with your own content—that’s it!

Thank you. I am unable to preview the Compliance & Legal template. It opens a blank page.

Hi Mary!
Try logging out of Rise 360, then log back in. From your Rise 360 dashboard, click the New Course button, and select Templates.
Then hover over the Protecting Patient Privacy course, and click Preview Template. Let me know if that works for you!
Awesome - these are great timesavers to get things started - thanks guys.
These are great! Do you have any templates or suggestions on using Rise as a dashboard for project progress/status when sharing with a senior leadership team?
Thanks...That worked and this time I opened in Google Chrome.
I was able to access the templates yesterday but have been unable to access them today. Another team member gets the same error.
Thank you.
Hi there, Sonja. I'm sorry your team is getting hung up. Start by making sure you have access to all things Articulate 360, and if that doesn't help, let us know!
Can we a template into an already existing course (merge)?
I had access yesterday and I'm running the latest version of 360 so I'm not sure why I would be able to access them today?

Hey Joel! The template will be added to your dashboard as a complete course, but you can open the course outline and easily copy lessons to another existing course:
Not sure why but when I attempt to try out the new templates, I get the Oops message...Oops!
Something went wrong. Please contact support if the problem persists. Any ideas?

EXCELLENT! That is great news and helps us immensely! Thank you for the input :)
Curious what screen recording and editing software were used to record the demo video embedded above? I love it!
Hi Cory! Our expert video editors use a combination of several tools and do most of the animations by hand. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Absolutely love the new templates! I'm anxious to start using them but when I try to download one to my dashboard it seems to take an great deal of time. I've waited for almost 10 mins with it still indicating it's processing the file and finally hit cancel. Tried with several different templates thinking that is might be a single template issue, but same result. Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
That's odd, Sarah! I wouldn't expect the import process to take more than a minute or so.

Thanks so much for your response and resources Alyssa...
When I went back in and attempted the import again, it worked - imported the template in less than a minute! Thinking possibly it had something to do with my internet connection the first attempt...
Great to hear it, Sarah! Thanks for following up!
Is it possible to create our own branded rise template?
You bet, Jennifer! Check out this user guide on creating and sharing Block Templates.
Could we get a template based on the "Transitioning to Remote Work" rise example?

Hello, Dean!
Go to this post from the E-Learning Heroes Community team to send a copy of Transitioning to Remote Work to your own Rise 360 dashboard for editing.
