Updates to the Rise Text Editor

We are making updates to the current text editor in Rise 360 in order to lay the groundwork for better maintainability and flexibility of text editing features in the long-term.

The current text editor in Rise is based off of a library called Froala, which will be replaced with another library, Tiptap.

The key reasons for this change are:

  1. Commitment to Quality: We continuously evaluate third-party technologies to help ensure the best product experience, which is why we're upgrading our Rise 360 rich text editor from Froala to Tiptap.
  2. Enhanced User Experience: This change reflects our dedication to providing you with an improved, more reliable, and feature-rich text editing experience within our product.
  3. Compatibility: This change will be seamless and transparent for all customers who are using Rise without any third party add-ons. However, we are aware that this update may result in compatibility issues with certain unauthorized, unaffiliated third-party add-ons that customers may be using with our products, including the unaffiliated add-on feature offered by Mighty-Maestro. We recommend verifying that any unauthorized and unaffiliated add-ons you are using are compatible with the new rich text editor to ensure a seamless authoring experience.
