- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroThanks, Justine! So glad if it helps. :)
I just redesigned it for Storyline 2, so I'll post about that soon too.
- RukhsanaKhan-79Community MemberI really like this. Lots of great ideas to adapt to my own project. Thank you Jackie.
- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroYou're so welcome, Rukhsana! Thank you! :)
- KarenLaundon-adCommunity MemberI can't believe I smiled the entire time I stepped through a government form interaction! Awesome!
- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroHahaha :) Thanks Karen!!
- DianaMyersCommunity MemberJackie, this is absolutely lovely! Thank you so much for sharing your work and inspiring us with your talents! (and I love the Occupation)

I couldn't imagine a better occupation than Optimist. :)
- JoyScottCommunity MemberDoes anyone know of a way to get the slides in Articulate to appear as portrait instead of landscape? I have a rather lengthy photo that fits better as portrait than as landscape. When I shrink it to the slide, it gets rather scrunched up, and I'm still getting the hang of using the zoom tool. Thank you. : )
- AmandaLodge-050Community MemberHi Joy,
Just click on the Design tab and then click on Story Size. From there you can change the width and height of your story to anything you need!- JoyScottCommunity MemberThank you! That did the trick.
- ElizabethDelgadCommunity MemberThis is very nice, Jackie, thanks for sharing!
- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroThank you, Elizabeth!
By the way, I just made this one over in Storyline 2 using a slider to navigate the form: http://www.jackievannice.com/?p=175070047
- NualaConnollyCommunity MemberJackie, I loved your interaction and thank you for sharing the link to the sound effects which I've just downloaded! :-)
This might sound like a really stupid question, but how did you get the typed answers in the form to appear gradually, as if they actually were being typed?
Sorry if this is really basic :-/- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroYou're welcome, Nuala! Have fun with your new audio insta-library. I can't imagine a question that would be too basic - and your animation question is quite timely!
For this example (created in Storyline 1) I used a fade animation on every one of those itty bitty text boxes and brought them in gradually, each one entering at a different point on the timeline. Funnily enough, just today I posted a makeover of this demo in Storyline 2, and because it has more built-in animation options I was able to use a wipe animation and set it to wipe left to right. It's a big improvement over the fade animation. I talked about redoing the animation at the end of today's post: http://www.jackievannice.com/?p=175070047
- NualaConnollyCommunity MemberAww thank you - that sounds so obvious now when you say it but I was racking my brain trying to work out how you did it lol
Your interaction has really fired up my enthusiasm now for some drab courses that I could try to freshen up, so thanks again! :-)- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroThere's nothing like fired-up enthusiasm and some cool ideas to fuel a good makeover. :)
Go get 'em, Nuala!
- ReneeWininger-9Community MemberThis is incredible -- Love it! When I read how you did the "typing" animation, it gave me another great reason for our company to invest in Storyline 2!!!
- JackieVanNiceSuper HeroThat's great to hear, Renee! I'm glad if it helps. :)
