Ability to Delete Triggers Across All or Named Slides
Idea:
Provide the ability to delete all/selected triggers across all slides or specific named slides in a single action.
Current limitation:
Triggers must currently be deleted manually on each slide. In large courses (e.g. 300–400 slides), this is time-consuming and error-prone.
If a trigger needs to be removed (e.g. outdated variable logic or navigation):
- Each slide must be opened individually
- The trigger must be located and deleted manually
- There is a risk of missing slides or leaving inconsistent behaviour
This process significantly slows down updates and increases the risk of errors.
Suggested improvement:
Allow authors to select a trigger (or trigger type) and delete it in bulk across:
- All slides in the project
- Specific scenes or named slides
Optional enhancements could include:
- Filtering by trigger type (e.g. variable, jump to slide, execute JavaScript)
- Previewing affected slides before confirming deletion
- Undo support for bulk actions
Use case:
When updating course logic or removing redundant functionality, developers can quickly remove triggers across the entire project without manually editing each slide.
Benefit:
- Saves significant time on large projects
- Ensures consistency across slides
- Reduces manual errors and missed updates
- Improves efficiency when maintaining or refactoring courses
