Storyline - It seems that if the feature "background Audio" is enabled in a project, even if you stop the audio in the first slide, it still creates a gray play button. It would be logical to create an exception to the play rule so we can have an autoload module with a silent landing slide, which acts as a button to start the module and enables the sound.3Views0likes0CommentsKeeping objects aligned at the same time when changing their order in the timeline
I would like to see a feature that allows you to keep an object or multiple objects aligned at their same time when arranging them up or down in the timeline. For example, you could hold shift to keep the object aligned at 2:00 seconds when dragging it up or down. I've attached a gif to illustrate. After I drag the objects up, I undo one of my actions which shifts the objects back to the left to where their timing was originally. Then I undo several more times to get them down to their original order. As a side note, I would like to see undoing a reorder on the timeline send objects to their original position. Instead of having to undo a bunch of times and jump in between each individual object (as you can see in the gif).18Views2likes2CommentsRequest for Animation Support in Object States in Storyline 360
Hi Articulate Community, I have been working with Storyline 360 and noticed that adding animations to different states of objects (such as Selected, Visited, or Hover states) on a slide is not directly supported. While there are workarounds, they can be cumbersome. Are there any plans to introduce the ability to add animations to the various states of objects in future updates of Storyline 360? This feature would greatly enhance the interactivity and visual appeal of our projects. Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to any updates or insights you can provide. I watched the recording of the webinar from Nov 20th on what's new in Articulate 360 and it sounded like there might be a hard limit on the maximum number of characters in the alt text for Storyline. The suggested limit is great and usually I remain within that limit, but sometimes I need to go over because I am describing complicated graphs or other math visualizations. I'm currently outlining some future resources for undergraduate and graduate math students and need to make sure whatever I make is accessible. I like that the character limit appears while I'm writing alt text, and it usually helps me tailor the alt text, but changing it so that the alt text can always only be a maximum of 150 characters could really impact if I decide to use Storyline for some of my work going forward.6Views0likes0CommentsCustomizable "Invalid Answer" as a Feedback Master
Greetings, I would like to suggest adding a feedback master to properly edit the "invalid answer" or "You must answer before proceeding" prompt. Please note that we currently have "Correct Answer", "Incorrect Answer", "Retry", "Review" and "Thank you". I'm aware that the "Invalid answer" is a player prompt and not a slide one, but having the ability to customize it like other feedbacks would greatly help homogenizing our designs. Thanks in advance :)41Views3likes3CommentsAuto-alignment of bullet points to A.I. voice
Hello again. I'm thinking this is not so easy as it sounds or it would have been done already: We're building a lot of screens for clients with standard text bullets timed to theabsolutely fabulous addition of A.I. Voiceover - a huge thank you for A.I. automation, btw! Definitely worth the extra price! Now, I am spending a great percentage of my newly found extra free time of NOT physically reading and recording and editing and importing V.O., in aligning the animated appearance of the bullets with the AI voice*. Yes, I can hear the 'aw...poor guy' sarcasm from here. I'm sure the difficulty for Storyline/A.I. to know where a bullet point matches the text being voiced, but it seems like it should be an easy task for the 'all-knowing genie' of AI to master, and it would save even more hours of work for my 'expendable fallible human carcass' to enjoy in other activities, like making 3D stuff or sleeping. *No, I'm not just showing the text being voiced - that has been proven to actually impede learning - but the bullets are summarizing what is being said in as few words as possible as a reminder of what has been covered. (We keep the actual narration in the Notes tab if they need to read every word later.) So if there is already a way to do this, I apologize for taking your newly found extra free time to read this longish suggestion that I did NOT run through ChatGPT for help with grammar and clarity. Otherwise, thanks for any ideas you may have.6Views0likes0CommentsRequest for Feature to Export All Text-to-Speech Scripts in Storyline 360
Are there any plans to develop a feature in Storyline 360 that allows users to export all text-to-speech (TTS) scripts used in a project into a single document, such as a Word file. Currently, it is quite time-consuming to manually copy the TTS text from each slide, especially for projects with a large number of slides. Having an option to automatically compile all TTS scripts into one document would greatly enhance productivity and streamline the workflow for many users. Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to any updates or potential solutions you might have. Best regards, ElviraSolved39Views3likes4Comments
