Aligning shapes
It would be useful if you could select multiple shapes together and equally space them in one operation. This would be an excellent alignment tool.
The Arrange and Align section of the FORMAT ribbon has buttons to do that.
The top two rows of icons on the right side align objects with each other.
The icons in the bottom row distribute objects. The first icon distributes them vertically. The second distributes them horizontally.
You can also access these options via the Arrange button on the HOME ribbon.
