Custom Color Palette for Company Brands
I would love for there to be a way to add all of our six brand colors to a palette within our Rise 360 theme. That way, every time I go to select a color from the palette, I just need to click the swatch I want without having to reenter the hex code each time.

Hello jsn4d,
Thank you for your feedback regarding a possible feature related to Rise 360 Theme colors. I think that is a good idea. I submitted a feature request on your behalf, and we'll let you know if there are any changes that might help.
In the meantime, here's how we manage feature requests that we receive.

I would like to second this feature request. I'm currently rebranding multiple courses and I need to change all the body text from black to dark blue which is very labor intensive since I have to copy/paste the same hex code thousands of times.

Hello BethanyShepard,
Thank you for letting me know that you are also interested in a custom color palette feature for Rise 360!
I’ve added your feedback to the existing feature request, and we’ll let you know if this feature is added in a future Rise 360 release.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have other ideas or requests.

This feature used to be on the Roadmap and now it is not. Why was it removed? Articulate is implementing a ton of AI functionality but can't even give users a way to define more than a single custom theme color in Rise?

Agree! This would speed up workflow instead of having to enter the HTML color every time you want to change a text color. Same with fonts, why can you only select one font? Thanks!

I literally bought a Stream Deck and use the Text buttons to automatically drop all the hex codes into Rise 360, because it was taking forever. It is very frustrating that I can't pick a set of colours, or that Rise 360 doesn't remember the colours I pick over and over again.

I would also like to be able to add more colors to my Rise courses. Pasting in hex codes in so many places is super tedious. I hope this will be addressed soon. Thanks!

One of the latest improvements that has landed in Rise Canvas is a shared brand palette system. If you build courses for multiple clients, you'll know the pain of typing the same brand hex codes into builder after builder. Now you can set them up once. A new Palettes button in the canvas toolbar opens a manager where you create up to four named palettes, one per client, say, "Acme Corp" or "NHS Trust". Within each palette you add colours either by picking them visually or by typing and pasting a hex code directly, and you can drag them to reorder or remove any you don't want. You choose which palette is active, and its colours then appear as a row of one-click swatches next to every single colour picker across all twenty builders. Click a swatch and the colour applies instantly. Switching the active palette only changes which shortcuts are offered, it never recolours work you've already done. Each palette can hold up to twenty colours, and you can delete a whole palette with a quick two-click confirm.

Is Rise Canvas a 3rd party tool not offered officially by Articulate? As great as it looks, my organization would never permit designers to use a 3rd party tool to develop any portion of our courses. Every tool we use must be vetted and approved by the organization.

The tool is just a code block in a Rise course, so effectively you're just using Rise. If you're unsure don't use it I guess!
