Custom Gradients & Styles
Hi HoneyTurner!
Thanks for the feedback on the type of functionality you'd like to see in Storyline 360!
I've shared your insights with our product team, and we'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps. In the meantime as a workaround you may want to consider:
For Gradients: Create a Shape with your desired gradient. Copy that Shape to other Slides, then use Format Painter to apply that gradient to other shapes. Or utilize Slide Master layouts that incorporate those fills so they can be applied quickly while authoring.
For Shape Styles: First design the Shapes and States manually, then create (and re-apply) Custom Template Slides with these pre-formatted Shapes and States already defined.
Have a great start to your week!

Great suggestion about the Slide Master, Steven.
I've been using the format painter and importing slides from other projects when I need to reuse a previous shape or gradient style. But remembering which project I used it in is sometimes time consuming. And templates never feels like the right fit when the layout of the page will be considerably different. But, a slide master of components could be just what I need and would fit my workflow better.
