Feature Request: Slide Frame Option in the Player

 

I’d love to see a simple option to add a slide frame (border) directly in the Storyline player—nothing fancy, just a clean line around the slide area.

My stakeholders prefer a clean white player background, but the application I’m demonstrating is also white. It makes it hard for learners to clearly see where the slide ends and the application begins.

Workarounds exist, but all have drawbacks:

• Slide shapes block interactivity and add more objects that contribute to file complexity
• Slide shapes on the Master slides put the frame behind content
• Slide shapes on Layers bring it forward but can flash on load

I'm open to other ideas but it seems like (to my non developer mind) that a player frame would be a simple solution. Thanks for considering.
