Feedback in Multiple Response Questions in Rise 360 – currently confusing

Hi everyone,

I keep running into a didactic challenge when using multiple response questions in Rise 360:

Right now, there is only one generic “Incorrect Feedback” regardless of why the answer is incorrect.

In practice, this can be confusing for learners, because there are different possible scenarios:

• Correct answers were missed
• Incorrect answers were selected
• Or both at the same time

A single feedback message (“That’s not correct”) is often unclear and doesn’t really support the learning process. Especially for multiple response questions, learners expect more precise guidance.

From a learning design perspective, it would be very helpful to distinguish at least between:

• “Some correct answers are missing”
• “Some selected answers are incorrect”

This would make feedback much clearer and more supportive.

How are you currently dealing with this limitation? Do you have effective workarounds?
