Generated Captions use Punctuation for Separation

It would be nice if there was a way to have the captions generated from text-to-speech have the ability to create the caption blocks that use the end punctuation marks (or even commas) to know when to create a new caption block.

Caption blocks can be overly long and include just a few words of a new sentence.

  • Hi DeannaCriddle-b,

Thanks for sharing this, that’s a great callout.

Using punctuation like sentence endings or commas to define caption breaks would make generated captions much easier to read and better aligned with how content is naturally structured. Longer caption blocks, especially when they split sentences awkwardly, can definitely impact clarity.

I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so it can be considered alongside similar requests we’re tracking.
