Slide Spell Check
The title really speaks for itself. In Storyline, a spell check for the scene and slide titles would be great. It could include the red underlines for immediate spell check, but also a spell check button to check the entire scene/project, including scene/slide titles.

Storyline will mark misspelled words if you have that function turned on. You access the Spelling Options via FILE > Storyline Options.
You're not seeing misspelled words marked? That sounds like the "Hide spelling errors" buttons is selected.
Storyline doesn't have a spell-check function that automatically runs through an entire scene or the entire course. You do have to check slide-by-slide. (That's why I simply look for errors when I'm working on a slide.)
Hello ReneeJerden,
I’m glad Judy has already chimed in. She’s right that Storyline doesn’t currently have a spell-check function that runs through an entire scene or project. Also, spell check doesn’t include scene or slide titles at this time.
I’ve shared your feedback with our product team, and we’ll let you know if these features are added to Storyline in the future. Thanks for the great suggestion!

I'll clarify something that EricSantos said: "spell check doesn’t include scene or slide titles at this time."
That refers to the slide titles that appear in the built-in Menu. Those come from the Title field under a slide's thumbnail in the Scenes panel.
However, if the slide has a Title placeholder, what you type in the placeholder automatically transfers to the Title field. So if you keep that connection, verifying the spelling in the Title placeholder verifies the spelling in the Slide Title field.
FYI: If you don't want a title to appear on certain slides (for example, blank layouts), but you do want a title for the built-in Menu, put a Title placeholder above the slide area in the Slide Master layout. The users won't see it, but you'll still be able to edit it to get the official Title, and misspellings will be marked.
Hi JudyNollet,
Thanks for the insight! You’re absolutely right about how the Title placeholder connects with the slide title in the Scenes panel and how that can help with spotting misspellings.
To clarify, the feature request to edit slide titles is for authors who’d like to have distinct slide titles from what is seen in the slide itself.
Appreciate you sharing those great and helpful tips.
