Split the Preview Button into Scene and Slide
- 1 month ago
Yes, using the Preview button requires careful clicking to get to the options for choosing how much to preview.
But there already is a quick one-click option for previewing only the current slide: Click the desktop icon (or another format icon).
BTW, the Select drop-down that appears when you're previewing can be quite helpful.
- If you just previewed one slide, you can use it to preview any other slide without closing the preview window.
- If you previewed a scene or the entire course, you can use it to skip to another slide in the previewed set, or preview any slide not in the original set.
- Unfortunately, if you previewed "selected slides," choosing one of those slide in the Select drop down re-does its preview.
Judy,
As I thought, it was there in front of me all the time! Thanks for pointing that out and the other helpful info as well.
Regards,
alan

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. π
(And welcome to the very large "why didn't I notice that before" club.)

Will do! Thanks again!
(I still think that it isn't too obvious a place to put the single slide preview. I've been faked out by the big Preview icon for about three years now, and for the sake of future new users, my suggestion to split the button still stands.)- JudyNollet1 month agoSuper Hero
If you want to make an official feature request, you can do that here:
https://www.articulate.com/product-feature-request/
Submitting a request doesn't guarantee that a feature will be implemented. But it ensures that the staff sees and records the request.
