ELC #569: Using Sliders to build QA Personas

Link: Persona QA Testing Tool

Hello all!

Happy to be posting some work for another challenge! I've been working on dynamic content more as I anticipate shifts in what building and testing look like in the age of AI. When I saw a challenge for sliders, I decided it would be a nice opportunity to make a tool to help reinforce some of the QA that I try to do with AI-powered builds. I shared a few additional thoughts about it on LinkedIn! This tool allows users to describe their project/what they are trying to QA along with other details, and after choosing a "user archetype" you use the sliders to adjust how standard/deviated the user's navigation through their experience and perspective is, to view your activity from a few different angles. Once you're finished you can either export a briefing to run the QA following the guidelines laid out, or you can export an AI prompt and run the QA in a session by having AI roleplay the learner and sending screenshots. Eventually, I am planning on pairing this with an AI model relay system that can autonomously run through the QA scenarios and simply send back reports. Feel free to give it a try! Thank you so much in advance to anyone who checks it out! 😊

Hi Trevor!  Great work.  I appreciate your experimentation.  This looks a little bit like Gemin canvas work.  What AI did you use?  Did you complete a storyboard, add then and prompted the interactive learning journey?  Thanks!

Much appreciated, Melissa! Thank you for checking it out! I used Claude and GPT, those are my normal 2 these days. I actually hadn't seen Gemini Canvas, but now I am going to check it out! I mock visuals in GPT, and iron out architecture by looping both Claude & GPT into the project together, keeping them aligned, etc. So in the end, it normally looks like Claude building/executing plans that I've talked through and then nailed down with both models 😄
