This is a nice way to connect a basic math concept with something people actually encounter in the workplace. Using averages in a real-world situation makes the lesson feel much more practical than just working through abstract examples. I also like the idea of presenting it through e-learning, since learners can see how the calculation applies instead of only memorizing the formula.
