Transformational Educator | Bridging Education, Healing, and Innovation

I’m Rowena Andrews from the East Coast, USA, and I just wanted to say hi.

I’ve spent over 40 years in education as a special ed. teacher, a behavior and mental health specialist, and I’m now blending that experience with my love for e-learning, publishing and restorative storytelling. I’m the founder of The Village Griots Inc., where I am designing courses and frameworks that focus on career/education, digital literacy, healing, growth, brand creation, and transformation—because learning should reach both the mind and the heart and not teach to the test but the whole child and offer embedded remediation, and empathy training if needed.

It looks like a lot but after working in organizations all my life, my goal is to build and lauch my own private school that is holistis. I’m great at creating trauma-informed, engaging learning experiences and helping others turn big ideas into meaningful, learner-centered content. Right now, I’m here to sharpen my skills and learn from all of you creative pros!

Can’t wait to connect, swap ideas, and grow together.

Welcome, Rowena! 👋 So great to have you here.

Your work sounds incredible! I love how you’re blending education, healing, and storytelling to create more human learning experiences.

As you get up and running, here are a couple of great places to explore:

    • Share Your Work: See how others are building with Articulate, and feel free to share your own projects when you’re ready!
Weekly E-Learning Challenge: A fun, low-pressure way to try new techniques, learn by doing, and get feedback from fellow members.

Can’t wait to see how your projects evolve as you dive deeper into e-learning!

You are welcome. It's good to be here I have been building for three months so I haven't been engaging. I am in the middle of him finalizing my nonprofit for operation and all the red tape you go through the the building of the websites and stuff so I am building a for profit Omni channel with a DBAs that serve different needs of the community, and a private School K-12 with a early learning program 2 to 5. Mom I'm building a legacy with my family so has two campuses one North Carolina and one in California where my daughter who was a teacher like myself, wanted to have her own. So as soon as my project is ready and ready to share I'll be glad to share everything. I shared something somewhere it was so big I think of people thought I was crazy. And it seems to be a bit much as I'm learning to do an Omni channel System. It seems complex but it's really kind of simple when you think of it it's like building a online school campus and also having when you walk into a brick and mortar. And then you sell your own curated curriculum and digital projects to your school. I look forward to learning about the weekly e-learning challenges. Thank you for your welcome message.
