The understated look of this PowerPoint template is inspired by a medical-themed template designed by E-Learning Heroes community member Josh Stoner. His design was submitted for E-Learning Challenge #69 and he was kind enough to give me permission to repurpose it—with a little workplace safety twist.

Explore this project in action

My take on Josh's template design features several icons I created in PowerPoint. It also features two free Google fonts: Dosis and Fjalla One.

Check out this article for a few pointers on how I adapted Josh's inspiration project.

    Hi Trina
Thanks very much for sharing this template. I am always looking for new ideas without having to reinvent the wheel. This can be adapted to any subject and I look forward to using it in the near future.

Are we allowed to use these templates and twist it for our own use? Or should we get permission first?

Hi! When using Presenter "13" - will these Storyline examples be able to use?

Hi Cato. This template is created in Powerpoint so it should work well with Presenter '13.
  • This is an amazing presentation. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to use.

Totally my pleasure, Mohamed. Glad you've found this template to be useful.
  • Thank you for this template Trina. As someone who is new to designing e-learning the template saved me time but also allowed me to tweak it and get some beginner level practice.
  • Hi Trina,
How is it that you were able to have the how to slide return back to the prior slide that a user clicked on to access the how to slide. I am having trouble adding this type of hyperlink to another presentation.

Hi Jacqueline! Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you on this. If you open up the project file and go to the Slide Master for the How-To and Contact slides, just right-click on the X button and select the Edit Hyperlink option to see how the linking works. You should see that these slides are both set to "Previous Slide." That means when the learner clicks that X button to close these slides, it will take them back to whatever slide they were viewing before they clicked the link. Hope I've answered your question but feel free to give me a shout here if you need more help.
