Do you have a series of videos or images you need to showcase all in one place? Download this Storyline 360 video gallery template to get started. This example uses lightbox slides to help your media stand out by dimming the background and bringing your videos or images front and center.
It’s super easy to customize—simply swap out the placeholder images and videos with your own and you’re all set to go!
Hi Jina! I use the recommendations outlined in the article below for the best video quality:

Hope that helps!
Thank you very much for this.
I am a beginner. when I add a button to the video , they don't replay again when I close the lightbox. what is the reason
Hey Enas! Have you tried editing the slide properties for each of the video slides to Reset to initial state when revisiting? That should do the trick! Here's some more info on that: https://community.articulate.com/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-adjust-slide-properties#:~:text=reset%20to%20initial%20state
Hi Sarah, this is a fantastic interaction. One questions please - does this file need to be published to an LMS in order for the videos to play? We currently don't have an LMS and when I publish to Review or LMS, the videos don't play. Cheers, Lisa
Hello, I am a little late to Storyline and e-Learning in general, but I have a question about this template, when the user clicks on one of the videos whether they watch it completely or stop it before it completes the video shows what appears to be a "watched" text box. I didn't see any layers, triggers, hidden states, etc. that puts up this graphic so just curious where it is or is it a built in lightbox or player feature. Thanks
Hey Michael! I'm glad you asked because the way I added the "Watched" text is a bit tricky to find. 🙂 I added the text and replay icon to the visited states of the play icon button. Since I grouped the video with the play button (to have a bigger click area), you'll need to double-click each play button to see the states. You can also select them via the timeline within each group. Here's a screenshot with one of the play buttons selected along with the states:

You can also customize your project so that the "Watched" text (Visited State) only shows once the learner has watched the entire video. Anyway, I hope this helps!
Hi Sarah,
What player is being used for the videos? When I insert my own video from the file the X that closes the video disappears. Sorry, I am new to Storyline :)
Hi Sarah,
Sorry I have a question. I've seen just above that someome had the same question related to the X to close the videos. I´m using the Modern Player, however even if I change it, I still can´t be able of see the X or costumize it. Why I´m not able to see it anywhere? Thanik you for your help!
Hi Alba! Great question! The x is only visible when you preview/publish the slide. When you use the lightbox slide trigger, it's all done for you. The x is built-in so you can't customize it. But if you're interested in making your own custom lightbox effect and x icon, this article explains how to do that: https://community.articulate.com/articles/how-to-create-a-custom-lightbox-effect-in-storyline-360
