Novice questions...
Initially I couldn't print from this, and I think it's because I don't have the right font on my computer. Would other learners have this issue? What can I do to make sure learners will be able to print the font? Or is it safer to use standard fonts that are available in Microsoft products? Any advice welcome.
Very nice! Anyone aware of how to develop similar solution to use in RISE so that a learner could populate (in an a SL block) throughout a RISE course and then end up with a Guidebook of sorts they could print/save? And/or saves their input so they can revisit it in e-form later?
When I have tried this, the text disappears after you leave the SL block in RISE and variables are not passed in RISE from one block to another.
I have tried adding something like this to Rise too and had the same issue - if you don't do the screen print immediately the activity refreshes if you leave the page. You could add to rise as a link to the Storyline project, rather than a block. This would keep it open in another window while the learner completes the course, but would not be recordable in the LMS.
Jodi, About what I would expect from you: brilliant. And of such practical use: would be an improvement to virtually any WBT; prompting the learner to actually think about how the content applies to them. I plan to discuss this in one of our Get Good With Articulate Storyline workshops.
