VERY nice Trina. I wish I was able to do what you have done. I will have to practice because this has real application and is something that I can see resonating with learners and aiding their understanding and retention.
Hi Conor. Sorry I didn't spot your question sooner. Unfortunately, this one is not available as a download because the images I used weren't licensed for redistribution. Sorry I couldn't help you out more!
This is one of my favorite interactions using the slider:

The first 2 slides are just the setup, the 3rd slide has the actual slider.
Hi Trina! This is really cool! I have been attempting to replicate in 360 and I almost have it. One question though: How did you create the RISK slider on the left hand side?! I have been trying for ages to get the colour and thumb style but to no avail!
Thanks in advance :)
Karyn
Hi Karyn. Glad you like this interaction. The vertical Risk indicator isn't actually a slider at all. The scale is a vertical rectangle with a gradient fill and the "thumb" is just a horizontal rectangle. I simply placed the thumb at the bottom for the normal state version (low risk) and then created three more states for this object, moving the placement of the thumb higher or lower on the scale, according to the degree of risk. Then I just added a few triggers to change the state of that thumb based on how the slider was being moved. I hope that helps!
As an aside, I've just written an article all about sliders that might be of help to you. Check it out here: https://community.articulate.com/articles/4-pro-tips-for-working-with-sliders
Trina, it's like you read my mind two years ago and knew I needed this bit of inspiration. I was totally having designers block for a similar topic and then came across this up-lifting example. :) Your skills are off the chain...in a safe way...ha! This is just what I needed. Thanks for sharing, Trina!
Yay! So glad I could provide a little design inspo for you! Thanks for always being so generous about sharing your designs with me and the rest of the community!
