Using Web Objects in Storyline
Web objects are similar to lightbox slides in that they give course designers a solution for loading on-demand content and resources when they need it. What makes web objects unique is how they allow learners to access external content such as web pages and intranet sites directly inside the course. In this webinar, you’ll learn how to add, edit, and use web objects to provide performance support in your e-learning courses.

Next Steps
Now that you know how web objects work, it’s time to give them a try. Here are some suggested activities to help you get started:
- Activity 01: Create a new Storyline project and add a web object to the slide. Load your ELH profile page or LinkedIn profile.
- Activity 02: Did you know web objects can be added to slide layers? They can. Give it a try but don’t forget to add a button on the base layer to show the layer with the web object.
- Activity 03: Create an example and share it in the web objects weekly challenge. I’ll update the challenge recap to feature your work.
