Using Zoom Regions in Storyline
Give learners a close-up view of a portion of your slide by adding a zoom region. It's a great way to draw attention to important content or add some visual interest to on-slide objects. In this webinar, we'll learn to create zoom regions in your course slides.

Next Steps
Now that you know how zoom regions work in Storyline 360, it’s time to put those skills into practice. Here are some suggested activities to help you get started working with zoom regions using ZoomRegions_PRACTICE.story from the downloads:
- Practice 01: Insert a zoom region and scale it down to highlight one of the graphics on slide 1. Change the Zoom Transition Speed by right-clicking the zoom region and choosing different speed options. Adjust the duration of the zoom region by increasing and decreasing the object in the timeline.
- Practice 02: Insert multiple zoom regions around different areas of the image object on slide 2.1. Try different durations for each zoom object and zoom level.
- Practice 03: Play the audio on Slide 3.1 by either pressing the spacebar or clicking the play button. Insert two cue points by pressing the “C” key when you hear the beginning of each paragraph. Insert two zoom regions and size each around the two images. Adjust the zoom regions to sync with the cue points you added.
- Practice 04: Create a panning effect by inserting three zoom regions around each of the labeled graphics. Adjust the duration and speed of the zoom regions. Make sure the zoom regions are connected in the timeline to create the panning effect.
