For this week’s challenge, I built a short Rise course that teaches first-time Oktoberfest visitors which beer to order with classic Bavarian dishes. Learners meet Max, a local guide who walks them through the tent, explains the difference between lagers and ales, and then hands them the plate. They spin to see what Max is eating, discover the beer that pairs with it and why, and collect stamps in a Beer Passport. A short quiz at the end checks whether they can make the pairings on their own. Tools: Rise 360 (Timeline, Tabs, Flashcards, Knowledge Checks, Quiz), plus a custom HTML/JavaScript spinner embedded in the course. I designed the interaction and content and used Claude to help with the code and illustrations. This is my first Rise project, so I’d love any feedback, especially on the flow and the spinner interaction! 🍺 view the course91Views1like3Comments
