I would like to create a crossword in Storyline and need to know if it would be possible (via javascript for example) to generate an automatic transition from an input field to another?
I don't have any difficulty in setting up the cross word as such, my concern is that I would like users to not have to use the "Tab" key or to click in the box to go from an input area to another. Do you have any idea how I can automate this?
You cannot set the focus of an object in Storyline, you could create a web object that does this and then pass the values to storyline in javascript. I don't think you can do in storyline using javascript.
So, I have only 2 solutions, either I accept that the user has to to click in each box or use the Tab key to go from one input area to another, either I develop the whole by creating and managing all the objects manually ... really bad ...
I think a feature request would be in order to get it on the radar if it Is not already, you would need two changes for it to be possible.\
the variable should change whilst the control has focus (at the moment it happens when it loses focus) also the new trigger would be needed to set the focus of an object.

this could not be improved on Storyline? :-)

Yes, for example, there should be a trigger of the type "when any key is pressed" (there is already one of this type but linked to a single key).
Thanks a lot for your feedback
