Found serious bug in recent Storyline 360 version 3.17.16117.0 - all arrows with either width or height = 0 are not displayed in preview or published courses. There is no such an issue in Storyline 360 version 3.16.
If you have any horizontal or vertical arrows in your courses, then consider to postpone update until the next version with this issue being fixed.
UPDATE: Issue was fixed in Storyline 3.17.16168.0.
I've been banging my head against an issue I've been having with hover states since the update and it looks like this is the culprit. Same problem is happening with lines, but just the straight ones. Tilt them by one pixel and the problem disappears.
This is seriously causing me a lot of grief. Please fix immediately.

What about Hover states? Do you mean similar issue with horizontal/vertical lines in hover states or any other issue?
Thanks for starting this post and helping out others in the community! Our team is working on a fix for this as I type - so we'll let you all know as soon as we can.
In the meantime, I did delete your reply with the link to the update download. If folks need to roll back we always want to provide the one-on-one help and confirmation that they've run into an issue caused by the update.
Our Support team is available 24/7 via email, so you can always open up a case here and they'll share the steps with you individually and work to confirm that you're running into the same issue that our team is looking into.
Thanks again, and if I can help with anything else please let me know!

Yes, 1-pixel horizontal and vertical lines in hover states. Sorry for the confusion. I had originally thought the fact that it was a state was a factor in the error but I came across this post and tested and it's any object with a 0px height/length.
I'm sorry it's causing you such grief too. Based on the severity of the issue for you all, I've confirmed with our team that we can share those steps and download links publicly. (You're ahead of your time, Ivan!)
I know a number of you may be on tight deadlines, so if you do need to roll back to the earlier update please follow these steps:
1) Open your Articulate 360 desktop app by clicking the icon in your computer's system tray (by the clock) or using the shortcut on your desktop. 2) Hover over Storyline, click the drop-down arrow that appears, and choose the uninstall option. 3) Download and install the previous version here: [link removed] 4) To open Storyline, go to your computer's Start menu and select it from your list of apps. Or, create a shortcut for it on your desktop or taskbar. (You won't be able to open it from your Articulate 360 desktop app. It'll show an Update button rather than an Open button while this older version is installed.)
We'll be in touch as soon as we have a fix in place for the issues you've run into, and if you'd like to work one-on-one with our Support Engineers to confirm the issue please let me know. I'm happy to start a case for you and connect you with our team.
Actually, I´m also experiencing a big issue with the updated version 3.17.16168.0 . When I trying to publish (LMS) any of my courses, the program shows an error message, making it impossible to publish to scorm 1.2.
See attached the error msg and the settings windows screenshot
Thanks, Ivan for sharing that update here! We released a fix late on Friday for the issues encountered in this discussion and a few others. You'll find the Storyline release notes are updated and you can download the latest update from the Articulate 360 Desktop application.
It looks like you're publishing to a Shared Folder location? Can you try publishing to your local drive for this file (or any others that are showing the error) and let me know how that behaves? We always recommend a local publish as working from a network/shared drive is known to cause odd issues.
can you please publish here again the link that you originally placed inside the point (3):
3) Download and install the previous version here: [link removed]
I know that downgrading the SL360 version is the last wanted option, but in cases like exactly this one, when your latest release causes serious troubles with previously working courses, this remains as the last working solution.
We removed the link as the latest update of Storyline 360 Build 3.17.16188.0 fixes the issues mentioned here. If you've run into something else and need to rollback to an earlier version, please connect with our Support engineers here and they'll help confirm any issues and get you that rollback link.
Experiencing similar bugs. All of the images being used as backgrounds have been moved forward and are covering all of our buttons and interactive objects.
When I open Storyline and correct all of the items, and then preview the items no changes occur. When I publish, no changes occur, all of our interactive objects remain covered.
It sounds like you have run into an issue our team is currently investigating. We're finding that background images are incorrectly covering interactive objects on quizzing slides in Storyline 360. Is that similar to what you're seeing on your end?

It's not just arrows.

As far as we saw there is a general problem with different shapes. It is impossible to use this update.

Just updated to 3.17.16168.0. The issue is resolved - all arrows are in place.

Hi Fabio,
It looks like you're publishing to a Shared Folder location? Can you try publishing to your local drive for this file (or any others that are showing the error) and let me know how that behaves? We always recommend a local publish as working from a network/shared drive is known to cause odd issues.
Ashley,
Thank you for your quick response, as usual.
I just tried to publish to my local drive and found the same issue.
Downgrading to version 3.16 on the link above fixes the issue.
Oh no, Fabio! I'm sorry that happened. It could be that something went awry when you updated to version 3.17.16168.0.
I'm glad to hear that Update 16 solved the issue for you, but we want everything to run smoothly on the latest update, as well.
From here, I'd suggest doing a repair on Storyline. That should bring you back to the latest update, and everything should work normally again.
Hi Alyssa, the repair procedure worked.
Thanks!

That's exactly what's happening.
Is there any way to install the previous version of Storyline?
Hi Antuan,
Our support engineers can help you with installing a rollback to a previous update. Please click here to reach out to the team for that request!
This may help someone else dealing with this issue.
The issue appears to occur in Pick One, Pick Many or Drag and Drop freeform questions when the answers are set to shuffle.
You should be able to workaround this if you avoid shuffling the answers.
