Help! Results slide for a Likert survey

Mar 27, 2019

Hi everyone,

I've built a Likert survey, but I am really struggling to set up a results slide.  The type of feedback I am looking to give is "if you answered mostly 1 then this, mostly 2 then that" etc. But inserting or rather adding a results slide doesn't give me anything to work with, so your ideas will be much appreciated.

Hi Lisa!

I've seen examples of results slide where different layers will display depending on the score range.

For example, if the score is 1-10, show layer A. If the score is 11-20, show layer B. If the score is 21-30, show layer C. Would a setup like that work for your survey?

If so, I'd be happy to help you set that up in your file! You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here

Hello, Lisa! Thanks for those extra details. If you'd like a second pair of eyes on your file, you know where to find us!

Hi, Alexey! Would you be willing to share your file with me so I can take a closer look? You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Also, be sure to let me know the conditions when you want each layer to show. I'll do my best to set that up for you!

Morning,

I'm running a test on what I was able to program with a set of variables.  If it is successful I would not mind to share the story file.  I am using a Likert Scale test for testing conflict managing styles.  Once the participant knows their conflict style, it will influence the rest of the activities as it will be based on their Likert score.

Hi All! Wondering if this has been updated or resolved in 360. I have a Likert survey that is broken out into about 5 sections. I created one slide per section with 3 statements on each one using a Likert template from the Content Library. However, I've tried to obtain results with a quiz results slide and a survey slide and neither one will pull in the results. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Colette,

Thanks for reaching out! Though older, this community discussion on Likert Scales is a good place to start:

If you're still stuck, would you mind sharing your current design for a closer look? Since this is a public forum, you can import the slide into a new Storyline file. Then, remove any private content and share that .story file in a new reply here.
