Html text formatting in text fields stopped working
Sep 27, 2018
Up until recently text fields in Storyline supported html formatting.
For example, this:<span style='font-size:40px; color:#461c25; font-family:Poppins Semibold;'>DEMAND</span>
Produced what you see on top of the attached image.
Now when I export the same exact project, it produces what you see in the lower part of the image (ie., html is just shown as text).
Is this a bug, or was something changed in a recent update?
We have several projects which uses this previously supported feature, and it's now impossible to do minor updates on them without needing to completely remake them.
(I know it's possible to format text using Storyline's tools. We use html because it allows doing it dynamically using Javascript.)
Thank you!

Hey, Daniel!
Storyline 360 text variables now support these HTML formatting tags: <b>, <i>, <br>, and <font color="#xxxxxx">. Click here to learn more.
