Sound like an undocumented feature. I changed the player size from "lock player at optimal size" to "Scale player to fill browser window" published and course ran correctly and then changed the player back to "lock player at optimal size" and republished and the course works fine now.
Note this was happening with all courses and I restarted my laptop several times.
Thanks for the update. Glad you got this working, but please note that Edge is not supported with HTML5. Hopefully your courses will work moving forward.
Hello Edwin - The latest version of Microsoft Edge is supported for viewing with Storyline 360. You can check out all of our authoring and viewing requirements for Articulate 360 here.
I upgraded to 3 but after the Windows upgrade could not play some of the
older courses in Edge. I switched to Firefox to play them. You have to keep
adapting! 😀
I have Studio 13, and a course works fine in Edge from my server, but a customer is having problems with Edge only. Is this solution's fix to change something in the player? Please respond.
I wish I could go back to an older Windows version and browsers. The interesting thing is I can get things in SL2 to work but not SL3. I did set Firefox as my default browser in Windows 11 but there still seems to be issues.
Hello. I used the Dice game as a portion of one of my courses. It works fine in Chrome, but doesn't some weird thing in Edge. After the last dice is rolled it starts all over again instead of going to the next slide. No issues in Chrome.
Just chiming in here that just today I've had issues with a course built in Storyline 360 being reviewed in Edge. It randomly kicked my reviewing back to the start or completely out of the system when she clicked on a trigger to open a light box slide. As soon as she move to using Chrome it was resolved.
Thanks so much for those details. We are seeing a few problems with Storyline 360's performance in Edge, but since both of your are experiencing the exact same issue, it sounds like there's something buggy going on.
Would you mind sharing a copy of your file with our team so we can take a closer look? The more file examples we have of the problem, the easier it will be for us to identify the culprit. Thanks!
I am not at liberty to share this file. I'll see if I can replicate the issue in a generic course and post that later if I can do that. The problems were all experienced via the Articulate Review site in case that further fills in data for you.
Hi again folks! If you're seeing trouble in Microsoft Edge while in Articulate Review, it could be that security/firewall is causing some trouble here. Can you check out this article about the different domains that need to be allowed for Articulate 360?
Daniel--if you want to send a file to our Support Engineers, please send the original (unpublished) .story file. Thanks!
I'm afraid the article you linked to is beyond me and I need a bit more information on the white listing and access points you mentioned. That said, I doubt this was the issue as my reviewing was using home network with the problems occurred.

Hi James,
Edge is not a supported browser for HTML5. You can see our system requirements here. A good tool to check out how HTML5 will play is www.html5test.com
Let us know if you need anything further!
Now it's working.

I did not see this discussion when I just posted this one. https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/windows-10-edge-browser-flash-problems#reply-434911
Hi Jeffrey! Looks like Ashley took care of you there, and I assume that means you are utilizing Storyline 2?

Isn't that the truth :) Glad you're figuring it out Jeffrey.

Hi Daniel,
Are they viewing the Flash output in Edge? This would be a supported environment.
Our system requirements for Studio '13 can be found here.
I just posted a follow-up in my other post https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/windows-10-edge-browser-flash-problems#reply-434911. I am having problems printing with JavaScript code in SL3. I am working with Articulate Support but there does not appear to be a simple answer.

Thanks for linking to the thread Jeffrey - looks like you were working with Ashley there and have now reached out to our support team.

Hi Tara! What version of Storyline are you using? Microsoft Edge is no longer supported with Storyline 2, so I wanted to double-check that you're not using that version of Storyline.

Exactly the same issue I'm having.
The latest and greatest. :) Storyline 360.

Mine is not in review, it's after it's been published to the 360 site. It's not a block issue on my end. Works fine in Chrome.

Thanks, Tara. I see you're working with my colleague Abel. I'll follow along and share updates here as they're available!
