Just wondering if there is any standard for embedded videos within a Storyline course and what file format is best to use? When I used a .wmv file it imports squished into more of a horizontal format, and I would rather not try to resize it by eyeballing. Using Storyline 2 btw ;)
Here is some additional information on inserting videos and the types supported. If the video is "squished" have you looked at what the video height/width is compared to your story size?
It should not matter about the Storyline size, because it did not scale the video proportionally. The video is set up in a 4:3 ratio, which is what the Storyline slide is also formatted as. When the video imports it looks like Storyline is making it into a 16:9.
So far this has happened with any type of WMV file I have imported into Storyline 2. Unfortunately I am not able to share the video because it is security sensitive information.

Hi Jesse,
Are you seeing this with only this video or only this file type? If you'd like us to take a look at the video you can share it here as an attachment.

Could you share it privately with us here?
