I have a few really long links that break into 2 separate links when the line breaks. Both go to the correct web page, but I would like the whole thing to highlight on hover. See attached screenshot.
I've had this problem before and I noticed something that might be helpful to you.
If you select the text and click on the "Hyperlink" icon - the problem occurs.
However, if you select the text, but do "CTRL + K" to insert the link, the problem sometimes disappears, but the highlighting will be the full width of the text. (see below)
But that trick doesn't always seem to work.
English is not my first language, I hope that this will be understandable and that it will help you a bit :)
I did try Jonathan Huguenin's kind suggestion, but it did not seem to fix my link issue. Are you guys working on this? I really appreciate all the help I can get!
I appreciate your update! Although we don't have a timeline to share right now, it is on the radar.
The only other possible workaround we currently know of is adding a transparent rectangular shape that covers the hyperlink text. Check out the community's idea here:
We just released Hyperlink States in Storyline 360 (Build 3.46.23620.0) today. This feature includes the bug fix where the line would break when hovering over a hyperlink!
You can head over to our release notes to see the other features and fixes in this update.
Now all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!
