Player tab triggers

Hi all,
I added a custom player tab to an SL2 presentation which takes the learner to a specific scene. That trigger was no problem, but I would also like for it to cycle a variable when that scene is accessed specifically via that player tab. The trigger selection appears to be more limited for player tabs, but can anyone think of a way to accomplish this? An alternative solution would be if I could track the 'last visited slide' with a system variable, but I haven't had success figuring out how to do that and from what I read it may not be possible.
Sometimes I wish Storyline and Captivate would get married and have babies so I could buy that product. Storyvate...?

Hi there Chris!
Walt and Phil offered a couple of ideas on how you could set that up in this thread. Let us know how you make out!
Hey Chris!
That seems like it'd be feasible. Take a look at this roughly thrown together example :)
Thank you both for the suggestions! Knowing javascript would have helped as Phil suggested, but time did not allow for this project. Leslie, your idea was good too, though it would have involved me duplicating the target scene with one version having the extra layer I was intending to drive with a variable and the other version without that layer. In the end, I reversed the default T/F variable instead. So now default behavior (extra layer) executes when navigating to it via the player tab, and when navigating to it otherwise, the variable is flipped and the extra layer is hidden.
Thanks for coming back around to let us know how you solved it, Chris! Good luck with the rest of your project.
