Quiz bank not working in HTML5
Feb 21, 2013
I am using a quiz bank in my course that draws 10 random questions from a pool of 20. It works fine it Flash but in HTML5, it only draws 5 questions for some reason. I also used some variables to number the questions and again only in HTML5, the "Review Quiz" option creates problems with those.
I have attached a sample file for your reference. It is supposed to draw 4 random questions from a bank of 6 and it shows the same problems in HTML5 as mentioned above.

Hi Vince!
Thanks a ton for bringing this to our attention. At this point, I think it would be best to have you open up a ticket, including your attached file, and send it over to our tech team. Once you get your case number, please relay it onto me and Ill have it escalated to one of our senior engineers ASAP.
Thanks again for posting, and I hope you have a great weekend
Hey Peter,
I opened a ticket. The case number is 00320793.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks, Vince!
We're looking into it now and will update you soon.
Any update on this? We have this issue in Storyline 2 at the moment.
Hey Jake!
Digging back into the archives here! The initial issue here was in Storyline 1 and was fixed in an update noted here. Since then it does seem to have reared it's head in Storyline 2 and Storyline 360 in regards to how Flash and HTML5 behave differently but both of those are being investigated by our team currently.
I'll make sure that I tag this thread for update once there is any updated info to share! Thanks for bringing it back up, and feel free to let us know if you need anything else.
Thanks Ashley,
We worked out rebuilding the quizzes fixes the issue, but that's not the most time-efficient fix!
As for what causes it in the first place, no idea at all.
Thanks
Glad there's at least a way around it for now, and we'll keep you posted on any other information our team is able to determine. Thanks Jake!
