This issue appears in SL3 Preview only. Subsequently, when published in Flash with HTML5 fallback, the screens behave as expected, and as they performed in SL2 preview. However, if published in HTML5 with Flash fallback, they perform incorrectly as documented below:
I found that all of my Drag and Drop screens I had programmed in SL2 that have multiple drag objects for a single target, and that have been converted to SL3 do not work if the "Drop Target Option" is set to anything except "Snap to center". These worked just fine set to "Tile" in SL2.
The behavior of the drag objects in SL3: Click on object and attempt to drag to target box. The object "clings" to the mouse and will not let go, and will not snap into the target.
I have set up a sample file (attached) that displays this behavior.

In addition, I'm trying to snap to center and they drag item continues to snap to the offset or tile position.
Hello, I've been having problems with Drag and Drop objects even when created with SL3. I just noticed that there are no more Drop Zones available on the menu which are now only Clic Zones. I will now have to go back to 40 - 50 objects in order to correct them all. I hope this can be solved and at the same time, that it could help some others facing this issue.

As you can read in the screen capture, it’s all in French… I already replaced everything and the only thing I can show you is a snapshot of the actual case:
where 1 used to be Add a drop zone and Modifier les zones de clic (Modify clic zones) used to be Modify drop zones.

We still can get the same results adding Clic Zones instead of Drop Zones but for this, it is necessary to replace it all in each and every one of the animations conceived with SL2 or any other previous to SL3 or 360.
I copy Allison since she handles the Storyline Heroes in French and I have written to her in the past.

Should Drop Zones be available once again it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, I would have shared the all the files but I have already made the modifications from Drag and Drop to Click on the image in the 7 projects affected, the other 214 didn't have this.
Should I find another one in the future I'll make a copy before doing any changes and send it to you (your team).
My current SL3 version is 10 : 3.10.22406.0

One of the fixes addresses an issue where drag items would not drop on targets (HTML5 output).
