Slide freeze in Chrome and Firefox
Feb 07, 2018
Dear Community,
After converting a project from SL2 to 360 I have problems with one slide.
Selecting the "prev" button will make the course freeze.
It happens after I uploaded to the LMS and only for Chrome and Firefox (latest version)Browsers. Not on IE.
Try to navigate between "Chapter Summary" and "Your Patient Rob":
https://360.articulate.com/review/content/75942f8b-1947-4de7-a9c6-c35532d71347/review
Even after redoing the slide from scratch it still appears only for these two slides.
Thanks for some feedback
Jonas

Hi Jonas,
Are you seeing this with any other courses or .story files? Does it also freeze in Preview, or just in Review while viewing in Chrome/Firefox? Are you able to share a copy of the .story file with us?
Hi Ashley,
yes, it is also with my colleagues and their projects when using the same template. It does not freeze in preview locally, but it does appear in Articulate Review. Please find the file attached.
Thanks much for some help.
Hey Jonas,
Thanks so much for sharing your file with us. I did some testing, and it appears that the HTML5 output is causing the content to get stuck when clicking the previous button on Slide 1.3. This happens in Articulate Review, as well as in the Web and LMS outputs.
I was just about to send your file over to our Support Engineers when I realized you had already done that--you're one step ahead of me! I'll share my findings with Abel and continue to follow along with your case as it progresses.
Hey Jonas,
Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is:
HTML5: Course freezes with a spinning icon when revisiting a slide which contains audio and buttons.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
