I've run into an issue where the CC in SL360 is "stacking" the captions. It'll display "content 1" properly. Then when it's time for content 2, it'll move content 1 up and display content 2 underneath. I've never seen CC displayed this way before and it's quite annoying. I've pulled the .srt from Youtube where it works fine.

Is it possible that your file is stored on a network or flash drive? If so, you'll want to save it to your local hard drive instead.

Hi, I would really like to replicate this "issue" as a feature. Is there any way to set captions to transition or rollover, having the previous caption stay on screen above the next caption?
Having the option to apply a stacked closed captioning layout would be a new feature to Storyline. If you'd like to see this type of change, I'd love to have you share more thoughts with our team as a feature request. I also wanted to share how we work to prioritize feature requests which can be found here.
Hi - I was curious if it was ever resolved from these previous asks? I know this is an old comment but I've just started running into this issue, it typically happens when you navigate with custom back/next buttons. I have a project file I can share if there is not a known work around.

Closed captions of videos on slide layers are stacking when pausing the video before jumping to a different slide or layer that also has a video with closed caption.

I'm having this issue as well. I've never seen it before. Obviously, we don't want the closed captions blocking the content on our screens.
