Is it still better to uninstall old version first or can we install over the top of existing?
Todd
Hey Todd,
Nope, you shouldn't have to uninstall the previous version before installing Update 1. Though, personally, it's still something I do (mostly an OCD thing )
Fantastic Peter! Some software companies don't tell you what is fixed with a release, they only tell you about enhancements. Thanks for the transparency.
I just tried the install and it complained about not working, then restarted to "repair". End result is that I'm not sure if I'm still running the old one or the new one. In the Help/About box I get this as the current version:
UPDATE 1: 1208: 804
Could someone who has successfully updated check their Help/About and tell me if you get the same version numbers?
Disregard. I see in an earlier post those are the correct version numbers.
Trying to install the update and one tiny little sliver of the progress bar appears and then it SITS.. how long should the update take to install on top of the old one?

Good news! Is this update enhancements only or does it include bug fixes too?
Translating Storyline Content
Bug fixes, too. See here for details.

Peter....
just a question...
If we are running SL v1.1.1206.2704 and click on "Help > Check for Updates", it says "There are no updates available at this time".
Is this what you would expect?

Hey, Pete!
With the release, has this KB article been updated with the new goodness? http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=1568gg1ayot2
TIA.
I'll have to check on that, Bruce. But it may be because this isn't an automatic update. I'll get back to you...
After installing the update, my version now reads UPDATE 1: 1208.804

Nice!!!! You guys rock!!! I hope this helps to speed up my HTML5 output of my project!
It works great in flash, however very slow loading in HTML5!
Thanks Articulate!
