Track using quiz result:

Apr 12, 2016

The tutorial for track using quiz result is as follows:

Track using quiz result: Use this option to track learners based on their quiz results. If your course has multiple quizzes, you'll need to pick just one result slide to use for tracking. (This option is grayed out if your course doesn't have any result slides.)

I do have multiple quizzes in my course (not all users will take the 2nd quiz), how do I ensure that they get credit for the course if they only did 1 quiz since we are only supposed to select one.

Thank you.

Quite the question, Chris!

If you've only got the published output of Storyline I'll have to rely on the community for help on this one!  If you need to "look for" the results variables, there are a few that we're tallying and reporting on each slide:

Results.ScorePoints
Results.PassPoints
Results.ScorePercentage
Results.PassPercentage

So that encompasses the passing score and the users achieved score.

Keep us posted what you end up creating!

Hello,

I hope someone here can help me out.

I managed to create a results slide where it tracks all the results.

I publish it in SCORM 1.2 and set the Output options to Reporting and Tracking, and in that option I selected the slide where the result are collated. PSA

When I publish the SCORM 1.2, I don't receive any feedback or results as to who and how many answered the survey questions.

Is there any way we could track the results after one has answered? if yes, where can we look for the data, or should I receive a notification?

Hi Gian,

Storyline can only track one results slide - although you can use one master results slide to track a quiz and a survey as explained in Step 2 here. It'll be up to your LMS though what they can report out on, and they may not be able to display the survey results that users have entered. You can also see the data that Storyline will send from a quiz detailed here.

Once your quiz and survey are set up, you can test SCORM 1.2 in SCORM Cloud, which is an industry-standard for LMS testing, to see if it reports the data you want to track.
