Translation import bug

Hi,

 

We get what seems to be a bug when importing translations to an existing file. All the text boxes seems to be fine at first. But when we change any of the content, such as add or remove words, the text get a blue square around it in preview and publish mode. From what we can see, there are no settings that can remove it.

Appreciate all the help we can get.

That certainly sounds odd and I'm not sure that I've seen this before.

What version of Storyline are you currently using?

Does this happen in any file that you work on or just this one in particular?

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Hi Adam,

A quick update to let you know we've released a fix for this issue where text appeared to be hyperlinked after importing a translation file. You'll find that fix available in the latest update Storyline 360, build 3.28.18944.0

To install the update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline - you'll find more details here.
