I've designed a lesson with a video I downloaded off of YouTube. It shows in my lesson with the eye open. I preview the slide and the video appears when I want it to. When I go to publish the lesson, the video is not appearing. Any suggestions/ideas/help?
I had a similar problem when first looking at Soryline caused by viewing the lession over a network share. Have you transferred the lesson to your web server and tried it there?
I had it on my network server on the Training Department's Drive. i had published it there, while I was building it and checking funtionality.I then published it to a different drive that is accessible by my SME's and now the video is not playing. I JUST deleted and reloaded the video and it still does not play when I publish it, though it plays when I view it in Storyline.

If you need to test it offline. the best way is to publish to CD. Otherwise it is best to test in the environment you intend the course to be viewed

Is the server set up to play MPEG4 videos? http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=ap9&id=w9bvqxxido6t
