Task List Creation in Articulate

Dec 13, 2019

Good Afternoon All - My question revolves around "Task Lists" and the Creation / Completion / Sign-off of those items on the list.

Background - in manufacturing environments we want to ensure that our operators are proficient on performing various tasks.  One machine may have 20 or 30 tasks that we would want to formally evaluate.  Once the operator and instructor both agree that all tasks have been successfully performed and all the questions have been answered, the operator and instructor would initial the items and the operator would be signed off on the entire machine.  Meaning that they would no longer requiring direct supervision when operating that machine.  The process would repeat itself until they have been signed-off on all the machines in their area.

I have, in the past, been able to create "task lists" in MS Excel and then upload them into a LMS that we had at that time.  You could start and stop the evaluationat any time and pick back up where the session was ended previously.  The LMS that I'm using at this point does not offer this feature.  Only the ability to upload a SCORM package that I'm assuming would provide that same functionality.

Do you know if Articulate Studio (or any other format) has this capability? Or if this is a LMS function only?  Meaning that if the LMS does not offer it then you cannot create it in a LCMS.  I'm hoping that there's a tool out there in the Articulate library that I'm just not aware of at this point ... capable of translating and packaging the content appropriately.
