I went to use a block template that I created in another course and it never downloads. I do work in a team environment. I haven't had this issue before. It loading icon keeps going in circles.
I am having the Issue where a block template is not loading. It is just spinning with the note "Inserting Template" Stranger thing is that it was working fine yesterday. Today not working. One other thing I notice that the "Cancel" under the spinning icon does not cancel the action. I can only remove it by hitting the delete trash can in the upper Right of the block
And another issue, I just tried to add a new block template and in the I am getting a spinning circle that says Processing Template. Looks like it is broken on both sides the creation and insertion.
I'm having this issue since yesterday afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. CST. I have tried cancelling and reinserting. I've closed and reopened my browser. I shut down overnight and rebooted the computer this morning and when I go in they are still spinning. Same troubleshooting again today. Same result.
Note: I have no issues building the standard block templates right now. It's just my own custom block templates.
Is this occurring with the same block template or is it multiple custom block templates? If it is one custom block template, then is it possible to remove the template, save the template, and then add it to your course again?
To be clear, refreshing the webpage did NOT fix the issue. Even switching browsers, closing/opening browser windows, and the overnight reboot of the whole computer did not.
It looks like you've also opened a support case and connected with my colleague Matthew. I see Matthew replied to your e-mail sharing that our team has found a fix for this issue.
If refreshing the browser and inserting your custom block templates is still giving you trouble, please let him know so he can continue troubleshooting with you.

Just delete the block that is not loading and add it again.
I am also having a problem with inserting a block in Rise. Icon going in a circle for an indefinate amount of time.
Hi Mark, may I know if this is still happening?

For the most part, it appears to be working.
Glad to hear this, Mark!
Hi Mark! Please try to close then restart your browser and see if that works.
.... and it's happening again this morning, even after a restart of my Google browser.
Hi Mark! Can you please try clearing your browsing data? Here's how to do it for your browser:
Google Chrome
After clearing your browsing data, remove the block you're having trouble with and add this again.
Let me know if that doesn't help!
The issue is also happening on my team. Multiple people have opened it and tried to fix it (after removing browsing data).
Hi Alysha,
Cancel does not work, but the stuck block can be deleted as described here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/inserting-template-gets-stuck-every-time?page=2#reply-779645

Hello Ambre!
Is this occurring with the same block template or is it multiple custom block templates? If it is one custom block template, then is it possible to remove the template, save the template, and then add it to your course again?
same issue here. i tried to delete template, delete blocks - no luck.
Hi Yorick,
Thanks for reaching out! Does this also happen when you are creating a new Rise Block Template?
Our team is currently looking into this, and as a quick workaround, I can share that refreshing the webpage should resolve this issue.
Please give that a try and let us know if you see any changes!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Yes, it happens when creating a new template. Refreshing the page worked. Thanks.
Understood! Glad to hear refreshing did the trick. Thanks for that information, Yorick!
Hope that you have a wonderful holiday season! 🎉
Multiple block templates that I've created. Refreshing, rebooting, nothing is working.
I have to rebuild from scratch and then copy the template within the course for now. Much slower.
To be clear, refreshing the webpage did NOT fix the issue. Even switching browsers, closing/opening browser windows, and the overnight reboot of the whole computer did not.
Hi Ambre!

Can the solution for this be provided here or should I open a support case? I have a couple of content developers now reporting this issue.
