NEW IN RISE: Process Block
Jul 31, 2018
New feature alert! We just shipped the latest new goodie in Rise, the process block.
Now you can add process interactions to the custom lessons you create with blocks. They’re a great way to help learners explore and understand a step-by-step process. And of course they’re beautiful and responsive to any device.
Take a peek at the process block in action:
We can’t wait to see what you create with this new block!

Hi,
When the feature to change the background color for process block will be added?
Hi Ramraj,
We don't have plans for a background color customization feature in a Process Block right now, but thanks for letting us know that option is important to you!

That's bad. Everything looks white so this feature is useless for us now.
Hi Ramraj,
This is what a Process Block should look like – it has a gray background with a white slide for content. If that's not what it looks like on your side, please let us know!
Hi there, John. We've tested this issue again recently and found that the process blocks are displaying properly in IE 11. Let me know if I can help further!
Hello, is there are a way to make sure that each step within the process block is read in sequence? It does seems that you can jump from step 1 - to 4 and back to 2....? Is there some type of lock that exists? Thank you
Hi Geraldine!
Add a continue button below the process block, and use the "Complete Block Directly Above" setting. This will ensure that the learner reads every step, even if they decide to read them out of order. I hope that helps!
